Pauline Baptist Church was founded in 1899. The original members were attending Philadelphia Baptist Church, but found it difficult to travel the distance in bad weather. The members originally met in homes and built the first sanctuary in 1904 on the land deeded by the Rizer and Smith families. When highway 94 was paved the building had to be moved back approximately 100 feet. The original foundation can still be seen in the parking area today. The church was enlarged in 1988 to include more Sunday School and fellowship hall space. Growth continued and in 1996 an education building was added. It was filled to capacity the first Sunday we moved in. The Lord continued to bless Pauline Baptist Church and now we have a 250 seat sanctuary.
